After implementing fee payments through PlayHQ last week, it has become apparent that the PlayHQ system has major limitations in service requirements and reporting which we deem essential, as well as charging parents a “service fee” of 2% when paying which was not disclosed to the Committee.
We have today, after further consultation with PlayHQ, decided to remove the payment of fees from the registration process and revert to our former system of payment by EFT.
Fees for 2026 Winter Season are as set out as follows:-
Note:- $34 per year will be paid directly to Basketball Victoria (covers insurance etc) and $5.50 to Basketball Australia upon registration. The season fees to be paid to the Altona Pirates Basketball Club, covers game & training fees, are set out below.
- Under 8 – Full Payment $215 per season
- U10, U12, U14, U16 & U18 – Full Payment $260 per season
- Normal Team of 8 Players that is not training – $200
- Team training session of 45 minutes – $245
Note:- The current family discount is as follows:
- Children 1 & 2 – No Discount
- Children 3 & 4 – 20% discount on their fees
- Children 5 & 6 – 30% discount on their fees
- Children 7 & 8 – 40% discount on their fees
- Children 9 and up – 50% discount on their fees
Please ensure that you pay your child/children’s fees (unless payment has already been made) before 17th April 2026 to the club bank account.
